BlogPaws Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop

Kely the Cornish Rex in her heated cat bed

Cats sleep an average of 15 hours a day, and Kely is no different! In fact, when she goes to work with me (almost every day) she's happy and cozy in her heated bed under a coverlet of fluffy fleece!

She'll nap the day away, just getting up to drink from her fountain and use the potty, with an occasional visit with a client or a lap around the clinic!

At home, she loves to sit in the Sunny Seat and watch the birds and squirrels in the back yard.

And don't forget to join in the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop, then you can take a nap, too!

Frootbat Friday, Kely Style

Kely the Cornish Rex cat at the front desk

Kely, like all Cornish Rex cats, has large ears (aka Frootbats) and it's one of her features that people comment on the most!

Her ears, and her lovely green eyes...yes, she is a pretty kitty!

Monday Mewsings ...

Kely the Cornish Rex cat perches on shoulders

I take a lot of photos of Kely ... she's at work with me, at Just Cats Clinic, almost every day so there are many opportunities for cute, silly, sleepy and perky pix!

In the above photo, she climbed up onto the shoulders of our practice manager (she's been known to do that with both staff and clients, too) ...

We always warn the clients that she might be heading towards a shoulder perch when she hops up on the counter!

Today, she ventured up onto the canned food display, but she wasn't looking for a high spot or even some Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken ... she has sniffed out the sample baggies of kibble and that was the enticement, as she doesn't get kibble any more!

She didn't get any kibble, but she did get a treat of dried Bonita flakes! We used to buy the CatManDoo brand, but since all the kitties crave it, we searched around for a similar product and found this on Amazon and it's nice large flakes, no oily or smoky odor and priced right, too!

If you'd like to see more pix of Kely, you might want to follow her Instagram page, which I just worked on feverishly while waiting for my car to be repaired. Seems like the only time I make time for Instagram is when I'm stuck someplace! Need to be better about that, as it's fun, quick and produces immediate gratification! Here's the link to her page!
