Kely is glad that Spring has finally arrived... so she agreed to pose for some photos (No nibbling on the tulips...they are toxic to cats!). Of course, she still has her work duties to attend to at Just Cats Clinic!

Kely was also a very attentive nurse while I was recovering from surgery & then the flu!

Kely certainly leads a very full and busy life, doesn't she!

Monday Mewsings, Sunny Selfie

Spring was in the air today and it was quite windy when Kely and I sat out by Lake Anne, only the second time this spring and ooh, was it nice! I'll have to remember to start putting on sunblock in the morning as our lakeside lounging after work will be happening more and more! This photo was one day last week...

Kely helped supervise this weekend when I got up into my attic and got down my mom's Wedgwood china, which a friend is going to help me sell on eBay and Etsy. Finally, making some headway on purging and downsizing...

And here is Kely at work, enjoying a drink at her water fountain, wearing a cute retro print dress with a Parisian flair!

As you can see, Kely leads a full and active life for a Grannie Cat!

Monday, I had her dress up in one of Coco's dresses, the Hippy costume she wore in the NYC Pet Fashion Show costume contest in 2015. You can tell the dress is a big large, but the flower headband fits perfectly!

Kely, like all Cornish Rex cats, has large ears (aka Frootbats) and it's one of her features that people comment on the most!

Monday Mewsings ...

I take a lot of photos of Kely ... she's at work with me, at Just Cats Clinic, almost every day so there are many opportunities for cute, silly, sleepy and perky pix! 

In the above photo, she climbed up onto the shoulders of our practice manager (she's been known to do that with both staff and clients, too) ... 

We always warn the clients that she might be heading towards a shoulder perch when she hops up on the counter!

Today, she ventured up onto the canned food display, but she wasn't looking for a high spot or even some Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken ... she has sniffed out the sample baggies of kibble and that was the enticement, as she doesn't get kibble any more!

She didn't get any kibble, but she did get a treat of dried Bonita flakes! We used to buy the CatManDoo brand, but since all the kitties crave it, we searched around for a similar product and found this on Amazon and it's nice large flakes, no oily or smoky odor and priced right, too!
